Records fell at this year’s Around the Lake Give’r Take 30 Trail Race, as runners took advantage of perfect fall weather to post some of the fastest times in the event’s 22-year history. Both the men’s and women’s solo 30 km course records were shattered, proof that the Cultus Lake trails can inspire some truly remarkable performances.
Carol-Ann Rolle blazed through the course in 2:35:44, setting a new women’s record, while Tanner Walde claimed the men’s title with a winning time of 2:28:22. Their efforts highlighted a day that combined fierce competition, community spirit, and the stunning natural beauty of the lake’s forested trails.
